Classes that we offer:

Hatha Yoga with Cassandra Roof

Cassandra began teaching yoga in 2006. However, her journey studying the mind-body connection started when she was a little girl, alongside her grandmother doing simple yoga poses and visual meditations. Cassandra has over 150 hours of Hatha Yoga training in addition to her completion of a 200 hour teacher training program. Cassandra’s classes range from beginner to advanced and incorporate meditation, mudra, yogic philosophy and Sanskrit. Cassandra is RYT certified. This class may be more “difficult” or intermediate in nature.

Tight-Loose Yoga for All Ages with Misti Anderson

A 60 minute practice to brighten your day whether you’re a child at 15 or 65 years old! Relatable cues make this practice ideal for those who don’t necessarily know the name of every pose or “asana.” For those who want a deeper practice, cues for deepening and lengthening are also included.  We heard you, Silverton– our necks, hamstrings, and quads are tight. Let’s loosen, lengthen, and release our tension together. This is our yoga class for “beginners” and those who are super tight and want to start to get loose.

All Levels Flow with Chris Gober, Funky Flow with Holly Huebner, and Summer Saturdays with rolling teachers

Yoga FAQ’S + Policies

Our space comfortably allows for 12-20 yogis at once. 12 feels more like “pandemic spacing”, 18 feels a bit more intimate, and 20 feels tighter but allows folks to comfortably practice. We allow instructors to reserve the right to close the class based on capacity or other discretionary reasons. All of the classes we offer are designed to be accessible for all levels of yoga practice and feature options to modify your practice to suit your needs.

If you have a specific concern or are new to yoga, please come a couple of minutes early to chat with the instructor so they can best assist you. We’d so love to let you into class late, but we just can’t.

No late admittance to class is tolerated as it can disrupt the practice of others and the flow of our instructors. Thank you for your understanding. However, because class lengths vary day to day, please feel free to leave class early if your schedule allows it. Our door will automatically lock at the start of class.

Our yoga space is on 13th Street between Greene (main street) and Blair Street in the Bottling Company building, just behind the Pickle Barrel café.

Please remove your shoes upon entering! Silverton can be a dusty, muddy, snowy place… let’s leave our messes behind as we enter our community sanctuary. A local artisan has graciously offered to donate cubbies for items such as shoes, keys, and water bottles, but those haven’t made their way to us just yet. As such, please bear with us, and when you arrive, please silence your phone, or better yet, simply leave it at home when you are visiting us.

Finally, while mats and props are available for your use, please be kind to them and to other yogis by returning what you have borrowed in a clean and orderly manner. We do not charge a mat/ prop fee. Feel free to bring your own clean mat, or if you are just having “one of those days,” don’t worry… we’ve got you. Anyone participating in any activity at MOVE must sign a waiver

Thank you for your kindness and patience while we get our act together.

We appreciate YOU, our MOVE community.

Namaste,

The MOVE Team
